okay... actually this is me taking a sample from a museum specimen and the sturgeon I usually "deal" with a subadults and smaller... but still. This is me in a Philadelphia museum cellar with a very large fish!
Now that I have finished writing about the Ecology of Benthic Invertebrates in the Eulittoral Interstitial of Lake Constance, I have swapped my lake for an island -and will be pursuing a phD in Marine Biology on Long Island. As I observe, analyze and interpret the happenings in my surroundings, I prefer seeing the humourous side of things and figure it is worth trying to produce a chuckle, a chortle or a even a full roll-on-the-ground-and-nearly-wet-your-pants bout of laughter as you read my stories of life happening now and in real time.
